Privacy Policy for Bookmarks Validator

This page informs you (the “end-user”) of the policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use the Bookmarks Validator app (the “Service” or “app”) and the choices you have associated with that data. By using the app you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

What Data App Collects and How it is Used

All Bookmarks files exported by desktop browsers and validation result files generated by the app in the analysis of the Bookmarks files are stored either on the device’s Documents folder or folder on the end-user’s iCloud Drive. None of this information is disclosed or transferred to any third party.

Any stored file required by the app or produced by the app can be permanently deleted by the end-user.

No personal end-user data is collected. The app does not require the end-user to enter anything personal, such as login information.

No app usage data is collected. This includes URLs visited during the analysis of a Bookmarks files and the time it takes to perform the analysis.

The app does not use location services per se.

No end-user input or usage is recorded to improve the app.

Permissions

  • The app does not access any protected resources like Photos and Contacts, so no access permission to these resources is required.
  • The app does not rely on Notifications being turned on.
