This page informs you (the “end-user”) of the policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use the Addressed Envelope Designer app (the “Service” or “app”) and the choices you have associated with that data. By using the app you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
What Data App Collects and How it is Used
All data entered by the end-user in the creation of a sender and recipient address labels are kept in an on-device database when session state is saved. None of this information is disclosed or transferred to any third party. This means the addresses of selected or entered contacts, saved envelope designs and saved address lists are kept strictly on the device in the database.
Imported address lists are managed by the end-user.
Exported address lists are stored in the app’s Documents folder where the end-user can access the file or delete the file.
Envelopes to be printed can be e-mailed as a PDF file, initiated by the end-user, to recipients the end-user specifies.
Envelopes to be printed can be saved as a PDF file to the app’s Documents folder. There the end-user can access and delete it.
Any envelope design, entered address and saved address list can be permanently deleted by the end-user.
An address list can be exported as a CSV file to the app’s Documents folder. There the end-user an access and delete it.
When the app is deleted, so is the app’s on-device database. A newly download version of the app starts off with an empty database.
The on-device database exists in the app’s Documents folder on the iOS device, which the end-user can delete. However, all saved state and saved address lists will be permanently lost. See Apple’s documentation on how to access an app’s Documents folder.
No personal end-user data is collected. The app does not require the end-user to enter anything personal, such as login information or their phone number.
No app usage data is collected. This includes use of app features to create an envelope design.
The app does not use location services per se.
No end-user input or usage is recorded to improve the app.
Permissions
- The end-user must grant access to the protected resources Photos and Contacts, and the microphone. Not granting access limits core app features: no end-user photos can be used in an envelope design and address information must be entered manually.
- The app does not rely on Notifications being turned on.
